CLEANLINESS
There is an average of two to three pounds of dirt in an old furnace and ductwork system that is a constant source of dust. Dirt in your ducts and furnace makes your whole house dirty. If the ducts have not been cleaned in the last three years, then the blower blades, the register pipes, the plenums, and the trunk lines are coated with dirt an dust.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
Complete furance system cleanings should be done about every two years. How longs has it been for your system? The gas company only cleans the pilot and gas openings, which are the size of a pin. they do not do furnace cleanings. They recommend furnace cleanings to companies like ours.
The blower motor and blower bearings need to be oiled regularly. We lubricate with a long lasting lubricant made for furnaces.
